As an actor, I need to make myself marketable, which is why I’ve decided to use my video editing skills that I’ve learned throughout the years and make my own demo reel!
So far I’ve been apart of 4 different shorts and a web series that I can use as for my demo, 4 are supporting, and one is a lead. but It will be good to put in so I can appeal to bigger shows, co-staring to be specific.

Today I grabbed all the clips i’m going to need and send it to my film/tv agent, and well see what happens after that!

This is such a great step, especially using your own video editing skills to build your demo reel. Having clips from multiple shorts and a web series is already a strong foundation, and it sounds like you’ve got a really solid mix of supporting and lead work to show your range. Good luck sending everything off to your agent.
Hi Carter! That’s exciting news. It sounds like you’ve built up some great material for your demo reel already. Wishing you the best of luck with the reel and future opportunities! What genre of films are you most interested in?
I just got a flashback to when I used to act a lot more and had to create my demo reel – I struggled tremendously! I couldn’t figure out what clips I wanted and where. I since have decided to focus on studies and just act in local indie films (I have a shoot in about 12 hours actually). Cool to hear that you’ve got some good material for your reel!
Hi Carter, super cool to see the steps you’re taking. Got a good plan and I wish you the best with it!
